More About The Winery
Located in the heart of Beaujolais, Domaine du Clos du Fief is a 17-hectare family estate now led by Sylvain Tête, who returned after formative experience at Château Thivin and Domaine Saumaize. He farms with permanent cover crops, under-vine cultivation and small chenillard engines to work even the steepest slopes with care, and vinifies using semi-carbonic maceration and submerged caps in the Beaujolais tradition.
