Tasting notes

Opens with elegant aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and peony, accented by hints of spice and crushed herbs. On the palate, it is fresh and finely textured, offering juicy red berry fruit, silky tannins, and bright acidity. Subtle notes of clove and earth emerge mid-palate, supported by a refined mineral backbone. The finish is long, graceful, and savoury - delivering classic Volnay charm with purity and precision.

More About The Winery

Based in the heart of Meursault, Vincent Bouzereau carries on a long family legacy in Burgundy while forging his own path. Nearly 30 years ago, Vincent established his domaine, patiently acquiring and restructuring vineyard plots across the Côte de Beaune, which today spans 18 hectares.

What makes the estate unique is its dedication to massal selection – a traditional technique passed down by Vincent’s father, Pierre. Instead of relying on clones, only the healthiest vines are chosen and propagated, preserving pre-phylloxera vine diversity and enhancing biodiversity, complexity, and authenticity in the wines.

The domaine produces a wide range of 21 wines (10 white and 11 red), from Bourgogne AOC up to Premier Cru and Grand Cru bottlings. While most vineyards are in Meursault, Bouzereau also cultivates parcels in Puligny-Montrachet, Monthélie, Auxey-Duresses, Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, and Corton. Highlights include Meursault 1er Crus, Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru, Volnay 1er Cru, and the Corton Grand Cru “Clos des Fietres.”

The style of Vincent Bouzereau is marked by precision, balance, and terroir expression — whites that combine freshness and minerality with depth, and reds that are elegant yet structured.
