Tasting notes
Possibly the best natural Aligoté out there. Lemon, green apple, perfect balance of minerality and acidity. Like those big Jura wines. Lightly braised nectarine peach, lime zest and saffron, mineral melodies, and iodine.
More About The Winery
Founded in 2010 by Yann Durieux, a former grower at Prieuré Roch, Domaine Recrue des Sens has become one of the most exciting names in Burgundy’s new wave of natural winemakers. Working biodynamically on vineyards around Hautes-Côtes de Nuits and Côte de Nuits, Durieux produces Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Aligoté with a philosophy of zero compromise, minimal intervention, and maximum terroir expression.
The wines are vivid, energetic, and highly sought-after, often released in tiny allocations that sell out quickly. From pure and mineral whites to soulful, whole-cluster Pinot Noirs, Recrue des Sens embodies Burgundy without filter – raw, authentic, and alive.
