Spotlight on Domaine Rolet: Five Wines from Arbois to Château-Chalon

October 1, 2026

Some estates specialise. Domaine Rolet does it all. Family-run since 1942, the domaine works across the Jura's key appellations, Arbois, Côtes du Jura, L'Étoile and Château-Chalon, and makes every style the region is known for: sparkling, fresh whites, traditional whites, light and aromatic reds, and the legendary Vin Jaune.

For anyone curious about the Jura, it is the ideal starting point. For those who already love the region, it is a reliable reference. This month, five of its wines are available at a special price.

The Jura in brief

Tucked between Burgundy and Switzerland, the Jura is a small region with an outsized reputation among sommeliers. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grow here alongside three local grapes: Savagnin for whites, and Trousseau and Poulsard for reds. Its most famous wine, Vin Jaune, is Savagnin aged in barrel for several years under a natural veil of yeast, which gives it its distinctive nutty, spicy and savoury character.

The October offer

Crémant du Jura 'Cœur de Chardonnay' Brut 2020
A vintage traditional-method sparkling wine from Chardonnay. Fine, precise and an excellent alternative to Champagne at the table.

'L'Étoile' Chardonnay 2023
From the tiny appellation of L'Étoile, a fresh, mineral Chardonnay that shows the Jura's lighter, brighter side.

Arbois Blanc 'Tradition' 2018
A white in the traditional Jura style, with more depth and savoury complexity. Superb with mushrooms, poultry and cheese.

Arbois Trousseau 2023
Trousseau is one of the Jura's native red grapes: pale in colour, perfumed and gently spiced. Serve lightly chilled.

Arbois Vin Jaune 2018
The Jura's signature wine. Complex, long and built to age for decades. Pair it with aged Comté, or with chicken and morels.

Meet the winemaker

Cédric Ducoté, GM and winemaker at Domaine Rolet, is in Singapore this month. Join him at our Rolet Wine Dinner at Ember Woodfire on Friday 9 October, or come down to the warehouse on Saturday 10 October, 2pm to 4pm, to taste and talk with him.

Special price this month only. Shop Domaine Rolet or request the full offer.
