Mid pale gold color with aroma of fragrant pear, apple and citrus aromas with a little spice. It has concentration, texture and power, with pear and melon fruit, a nutty character and subtle, underlying spice, and is remarkably reminiscent.very fresh and intense with complexity and length.

Founded in 1925, Domaine Henri Gouges is one of the most iconic estates of Nuits-Saint-Georges in Burgundy. With 14.5 hectares of prime vineyards, including seven renowned Premier Cru sites, the domaine has built a reputation for crafting age-worthy, terroir-driven Pinot Noir of incredible precision and purity.
Henri Gouges was among the pioneers of estate bottling in Burgundy, beginning in 1933 alongside estates like Marquis d’Angerville. His philosophy of low yields and meticulous vineyard care set the tone for generations to come. Today, the domaine is run by the third and fourth generations — Pierre and Christian Gouges, together with Pierre’s son Gregory, who oversees winemaking.
