Côte de Beaune Value: Santenay and Saint-Romain

Santenay, at the southern end of the Côte de Beaune, offers structured yet elegant Pinot Noir and Chardonnay at village prices well below Volnay or Pommard next door. Saint-Romain, tucked into a small valley above Meursault, is even less known: elegant Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from a village most visitors drive straight past.
