Why taste Dompierre
Château Dompierre is a family-owned Pauillac estate run by Michel Aroldi. Its wines are 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged in large-format Burgundian oak vats instead of small Bordeaux barrels. That is a rare approach in Pauillac, and it produces wines with a purity and clarity of fruit that surprise many seasoned Bordeaux drinkers. Tasting the five cuvées side by side is the best way to see how that philosophy carries through each level of the range. Read more about the estate.
