Tasting notes
The wine ‘Les deux anges’ (the two angels) draws its inspiration from these statues. Subtle and elegant with wild strawberry and citrus fruit on the nose. The palate is clean and fresh with beautiful smoothness and mango and pomelo notes.

More About The Winery
Nestled at the foot of the Montagne de la Loube in the valley of Engardin, Château de l’Escarelle is a Provence estate celebrated for its preserved biodiversity and certified organic farming. Its 100 hectares of vineyards, all in a single unfragmented block, benefit from a unique microclimate and limestone soils that give the wines their signature freshness, minerality, and elegance.
The estate grows eight grape varieties – Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon, Rolle, Ugni Blanc, and Chardonnay – to craft refined rosés, aromatic whites, and structured reds (many with cellar potential). Rosés are harvested by hand, carefully sorted, and gently pressed, while whites ferment in barrels with lees ageing and bâtonnage for texture. Reds mature in oak for 12 to 24 months, revealing depth and complexity.
Since 2014, historic concrete tanks from 1900 and state-of-the-art stainless steel vats have been used to vinify wines with precision while preserving their natural character. This combination of tradition and modern technology ensures that each bottle reflects the purity of Provence.
Owned by Yann Pineau and crafted under the expertise of winemaker Patrick Lobier, Château de l’Escarelle represents the very best of organic Provence wine – elegant rosés, mineral whites, and complex reds, delivered in pristine condition to wine lovers in Singapore.
