Tasting notes
A nose with dense notes of cherries, blackberries, and coffee. The palate is rich, warm, with great body and length, and silky tannins. Masterful, measured use of oak. An haute couture wine, in a modern style.

More About The Winery
Owned by Caroline and Louis Mitjavile, of the famed Mitjavile family behind Tertre Roteboeuf and Roc de Cambes, Domaine de l’Aurage is one of the shining stars of the Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. With vineyards planted mainly to Merlot on clay-limestone slopes, the wines combine rich fruit, silky texture, and elegant freshness, reflecting the Mitjavile signature style.
Produced in limited quantities, L’Aurage has become a favorite among collectors seeking Bordeaux value with pedigree, often compared to wines from Saint-Émilion.
