Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 92+/100
“A cuvée intended to validate Agrapart's contention that terroir trumps cépage, the latest rendition of the NV Extra Brut Grand Cru Complantée is based on the 2016 vintage, complemented by 20% of 2015, and it was disgorged in May 2019 with five grams per liter dosage. Revealing lovely aromas of crisp yellow pear, blanched almonds, white flowers and citrus oil, it's medium to full-bodied, incisive and energetic, with good depth and concentration and a long finish.” William Kelley, The Wine Advocate
Vinous 93+/100
"Agrapart’s NV Extra Brut Complantée Grand Cru a field blend of Pinot Noir Pinot Meunier Pinot Blanc Arbane Petit Meslier and Chardonnay is just sublime. Gracious and lifted with tremendous aromatic depth the Complantée is utterly beguiling. White flowers mint and orchard fruit are just some of the many nuances that emerge. In the glass the Complantée is bright and airy. The blend of varieties yields a Champagne that is so distinctive both in terms of its flavor profile and structural feel. This release is a blend of equal parts 2016 and 2015. Dosage: 5 gr/L. Disgorged: May 2019." Antonio Galloni, Vinous
More About The Winery
Founded in 1894, Champagne Agrapart is today recognized as one of the finest grower-producers in the Côte des Blancs. Since 1984, Pascal Agrapart has crafted wines from the estate’s 12 hectares of old vines across the Grand Cru villages of Avize, Cramant, Oiry, and Oger.
The domaine follows a natural, low-intervention philosophy: no chemical pesticides or herbicides, fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and partial ageing in large 600-liter oak casks. This approach ensures that every cuvée reflects the chalky terroir and vibrant life of the soils, resulting in Champagnes of precision, minerality, and depth.
